Three Layer Buck-Boost Converter with Zero Voltage Switching Operation

چکیده
In this paper a triple-deck buck-boost converter with soft switching operation and high voltage gain is proposed. In proposed construction, each unit is a buck-boost converter and all three units that are identical, working in parallel. The converter units are connected via three inductors, that they have delta connections. These inductors have an important role in soft switching operation of the proposed converter. They form resonant circuits with parallel capacitors of the switches and this causes the discharge of capacitors and maintain their voltage in zero when switches are connected. Therefore, zero voltage switching is achieved. Moreover, because of the parallel operation of three identical converters, the output voltage of proposed converter higher than that of single and double deck converter with the same specifications and voltage stress of the switches is less than them. The detailed analysis of circuit operation is provided in six intervals. In order to verify the theoretical analysis, the proposed converter is simulated in PSCAD/EMTDC.کليدواژه ها
